When Wren Byrne entered the interrogation room with her partner, she never expected to be teaming up with her detainee, Lily Zuo, to save the world of magic. With Absalom Peres and Ricky Lee by their sides, the pair was able to collect the piece of the ancient relic known as Statera, a magical staff that represented and balanced the known magics of the world.
Now, the Guardians of Statera have a new mission: expand the number of magical pieces and reassemble the staff. They are joined by Karina Hasanov and her protector, Javier Moreno, in the quest to balance the power of the universe once again.
However, as they cross the globe once more, collecting new pieces to increase the power of the staff, Galiena Lear, a leader of Arsa, is hot on their heels. She longs to claim the power of Statera for herself and dominate the magical world in the process.

Balancing the search for Lily with the building of alliances has the team struggling to stay one step ahead.
